Surviving!

So we're at about week #5 now of Mike being gone to Belize. He is on deployment with the National Guard and if you're wondering what sort of issues we have with Belize...none at all. The State of Louisiana has "adopted" Belize to sort of mentor in issues like infrastructure and training. I'm not exactly sure what all that means but I think they build schools and roads and stuff like that. Army stuff.

Anyway, I am off to visit on Wednesday so I am very excited! The boys miss their daddy, that's for sure. But we're doing ok. Some days are rougher than others but we make it and keep on going. We get help from everyone, especially Katie! Without her, I wouldn't make it some days. If she moves back home, i don't know what the heck I'm going to do!!!!

Grant had his 3rd birthday and he was quite excited. He got a bike, among MANY other things. He also got an aquarium! I set it up today and we are going to get a fish before I leave for Belize!

I will definitely take some pictures and post them after the trip!
